Finally picked this one up, got tired of waiting for a reprint. Remember how good this looked here, cannot wait to get it to the table.

Fantastic artwork on this game. Really vibrant colors which is nice to see, and the quests helping to shape into greek architecture was a creative touch!

If there's one thing I miss from my years in Malta it's the vans of produce; fish, fruit & veg, bread, meat. . . They would all cruise by me on some day of the week. Nothing more cheerful or civilised than all the neighbourhood stepping out to meet up and chat by the van.

In my birth country, that's exactly how it used to be. I miss that a lot.

You mentioned this in some of your Lists, definitely worth a look. I didn't get the appeal when it first came out but this has peaked my interest. Always enlightening to revisit older games and get a new perspective.

old people who are used to monopoly and checkers should not play this game, it is involved and has many ways in which to advance. I have patient children who help me muddle along. My wife screams and hollers when after her turn is over she tries to complete a forgotten task. I personally think that my daughter gave my son a crash course in the rules as he does well but my daughter has been playing this game since high school. She always wins...So here I am, learning. Just once I want to see the look on my daughters face when I win just one game. Then my bucket is complete and I can be happy when my time comes. lol... :)

Call me crazy, but it reminds me of 7 Wonders. Maybe it's just the theme though....

I refuse to call you crazy.

The gameplay's not that 7 Wonders-y, but it sits next to it on the shelf for me just because the two evoke such a similar feel from the art--all the way down to the box insert.

It's kinda like 7 Wonders Duel

Ive held off on this because of all the talk about how bad it is with 2 player. I guess this means I have to grab a copy now :)

THAD MCCOLLOM it balances somewhat well, except for the size of the deck which is the same; so more of the cards will come into play with four players than two. What is a bit confusing is the three-player game, where you will have four quests - three of which will be taken, so the player order can become 1, 2, 4 if the 3 is not taken... :)
