You are correct in that if there are any wounds or exhaustion counters on the hero or any Allies, they may only roll 4 dice, (page 4, first column). However, it also states that you may remove one fatigue for each dice less than four that you roll for movement. This is called 'resting'. (Also on page 4, second column). :)

@1:07 you say that, it you roll bad an dont get any dice you wanted, you can just move 1 step, this is actually wrong. To move 1 space is a decision you have to make before rolling the dice, and then you dont roll the dice at all, but just get this one move. see, either go save but slow, or risky but possible faster. this is quite a difference

On Jens turn, as she was wounded, she can only roll a max 4 dice.Plus can 'not use' a dice to reduce fatigue you have.

Great game, pity it's and all the expansions seem to be OOP for a while now. I'm stuck with the base game + Midnight :( Would love to have more encounter cards that I could just mix in with the base game. Unfortunately the expansions you can find on ebay and whatnot are just way too expensive for me.
