This was the best interview ever and I'm so happy R&B Money finally got Raheem "The Love King" DeVaughn on the show. Raheem DeVaughn is definitely on the list of Top 15 Greatest Male R&B singers of all time. His song catalog and writing skills are superb, and his live performances are some of the best you will ever see and his live vocals sound just like his voice on his cd's. Some of my favorite Raheem songs are Believe, Ask Yourself, All I Know (My Heart), Greatest Love, Calling Me, Come Together, Love Drug, Love King, Customer, Empty, Four Letter Word, Black Ice Cream, Make Em' Like You, Maker of Love, Love Reunion, Love Sex Passion, Heaven On Earth, California King Size Bed, and Let's Fall In Love. All his albums are fantastic from start to finish, but that Love Sex Passion album I can't get enough of still to this day in 2024 it stays on repeat. All his remix albums are bangers too.

The next time that I saw him was at the Lyric : Trey songz- opened Dwele- 1st act Raheem- killed it Ginuwine- closed Crazy part is this G during the "pony" Era. No one stayed to watch him because EVERYONE was in the lobby meeting Raheem. Big facts got the pictures still. Great human being still same amazing person years later. Saw him in March w/ Ledisi another amazing talent. Had a chance to catch him in the meet and greet. Baltimore will show up and show out for him everytime . He really is LOVE KING❤😊

Thanks J and Tank for this interview! I still keep Raheem's album, The Love Experience, in heavy rotation. That album always takes me back to my college days of being free and bold to do whatever. I remember driving to Atlanta to go to The Tabernacle to see Raheem, Solange, and Chrisette. I went alone, but the energy in the room was amazing; nobody holding up cell phones and me trying to dodge being caught in their live. 🤣I do miss how concerts used to be; smoke free (no issue with ppl smoking, but my respiratory system doesn't like it and it stinks) and the transmission of energy that happens because the artists and fans are in tune.
