I really appreciated that last reporter. Finally someone asked some tough Q's. Basically TOLD him a performance like this is unacceptable, and questioned him on whether he was mad about it or not. Raheem smiling, barely showing any upset or angry emotions on the sidelines and in these press conferences is really irking me. Jimmy Lake should have been fired this morning. This performance was a fireable offense. Raheem is delusional sitting up there praising the Broncos QB, when our defense is playing 5-7+ yards off the line of scrimmage. ANY QB is going to feast off that soft defensive coverage.

It starts upfront. Our 1st level on Defense hasn't brought any pressure all season. 2nd n 3rd level has been competing. Have to have consistency in all 3 phases. We need a sense of urgency ASAP!

This is the first week that I’ve not bought in to Morris’s responses and that I’ve lost confidence in his ability to lead. He doesn’t seem to understand that his defense sucks. If he’s in charge of it we’re screwed. If Lake is in charge, he should be released and replaced right now. Brent Key fired his DC mid-season because he saw the writing on the wall. Apparently, Raheem can’t see it. Scary. I hope I’m wrong and they bounce back and win six. But, if they do, I’ll be shocked.

Fancy coach speak about schematics is one thing, but being able to lead a group of men through those concepts is another. The team has tooned him out. We need less slogans in press conferences and more application on the field. ATL has seen this before, a great motivational speaker, but lack of substance on the field of play. Rise Up Falcon nation we deserve better, the buck stops with this guy. Being in the room with great HC's does not necessarily make you a great HC in the making, he a jack of all trades master of none.

Schemes are not plug and play. What worked for the Rams won't work in Atlanta. The Falcons have too many guys on defense playing in a scheme that does not fit what they do best. Quinn thought he could simply duplicate what was done in Seattle and he found out different. Quinn never tried that again. Raheem will either change his scheme on defense or he'll be gone in a couple of years. And there probably won't be another shot at HC for him.
