Rahul Gandhi will be in the fray in the second phase of polls on April 26. Gandhi, who is the Congress’s sitting MP from Wayanad, will be up against Communist Party of India (CPI) leader Annie Raja. With the Wayanad seat contest wrapping up, all eyes are now on the electoral landscape of Raebareli and Amethi in Uttar Pradesh.
Nominations for the key constituencies of Amethi and Raebareli are set to open on the same day, April 26. Sources said that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Rahul Gandhi are likely to visit Ayodhya and pray at Ram Mandir before they head to Amethi and Raebareli.

Rahul Gandhi is a good person, but is yet to forge into a national leader. His problems are 1. He carries the the baggage of Family legacy. What credentials does he have other than belonging to the Gandhi Family. 2. Cannot articulate his thoughts well, not at least in the Indian context. 3. He has never demonstrated his leadership by being a Minister even on a Congress ruled state. He should have become the CM of a State and demonstrated his achievements. 4. He is not an election winner. 5. He does not seem to have an understanding of Indian values & ethos. His thoughts about India are very plastic and shallow. Moreover, he is surrounded by a Coterie. Why is he propped by Jairam Ramesh? He should have carried the people along on his own. Finally, his faux pas! These are some of the reasons why people do not have confidence in his leadership.
