"പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു വന്നതല്ലല്ലോ വന്ന് പെട്ടതല്ലേ" എന്ന് കൂടെയുള്ള അടിമ ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ അവൻ ഞെട്ടലോടെ.. സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്റെ താക്കോൽ തപ്പി.. അവൻ അവന്റെ അമ്മയുടെ പേര് പോലും മറന്നു.. തന്റെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്റെ താക്കോൽ അവൻ തിരികെ അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.. അപ്പോൾ അധികാരി ഗർജിച്ചു: "ഇത് *ഭ്രമയുഗ* മാണ്.. കലിയുഗത്തിന്റെ ഒരു അപഭ്രംശം"! ആദ്യ ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ തന്നെ മികവ് തെളിയിച്ച സംവിധായകൻ, തന്റെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെ മലയാളത്തിലെ അവിസ്മരണീയമായ ഒരു സിനിമ ഒരുക്കുന്ന മനോഹര കാഴ്ച.. പണ്ട് കേട്ട യക്ഷി കഥകൾ , ഐതിഹ്യ മാലയും മറ്റ് മാന്ത്രിക നോവലുകളും.. കറുപ്പിലും വെളുപ്പിലും ആയി ദൃശ്യഭാഷ രചിക്കുമ്പോൾ..നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്തി കൂടാത്ത കാഴ്ചാനുഭവം സമ്മാനിക്കുന്നു.. ഐതിഹാസികമായ ഒരു നടന പർവ്വത്തിന്റെ സായാഹ്ന ഘട്ടത്തിൽ.. സമ്പൂർണ്ണമെന്ന് സ്വയം തോന്നാതെ..തേച്ചു മിനുക്കി കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന തന്റെ പ്രതിഭ..മഹാമേരുക്കൾ താണ്ടി..ആകാശത്തെ ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കി പ്രയാണം തുടരുന്നു.. ഇവർ ചെയ്യാൻ ഇനി എന്ത് ബാക്കി എന്ന് ചോദിക്കുന്നവരോട്... "ഇതാ കാണൂ" ഈ നടന്റെ ഇതുവരെ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്ത... 'ഭ്രമാത്മക'മായ ഈ മുഖം..! ഇട്ടിക്കോരയും സുഗന്ധിയും രചിച്ച പേനത്തുമ്പിൽ നിന്ന് ഉതിർന്നു വീഴുന്ന കാച്ചി കുറുക്കിയ.. കുറുക്കികൊള്ളുന്ന സംഭാഷണങ്ങളിലെ അന്തർലീനമായ രാഷ്ട്രീയം.. രണ്ടുതവണ വിധി പണയം വെച്ച് പകിട കളിക്കാൻ ആവില്ല എന്ന് പോറ്റി പറയുമെങ്കിലും രണ്ടു തവണ കളിച്ചു തോറ്റു , മൂന്നാം തവണ ഒരു ജനത പകിട എറിയാൻ ഒരുങ്ങുമ്പോൾ... സഹസ്രാബ്ദങ്ങൾ നീളുന്ന തിന്മയുടെ ഉന്മാദം വിട്ട്, ഈ ഭ്രമയുഗവും കടന്ന്.. അധികാരികളെ ആവാഹിച്ചിരുത്തി... സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിന്റെ മറ്റൊരു പുതുയുഗം പിറക്കും.. തീർച്ച.. നമ്മൾ ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും ഇല്ലെങ്കിലും. കാരണം.. കാലത്തെ പിടിച്ച കെട്ടാൻ ഒരു മഹാരഥനും ആയിട്ടില്ല! #Shiju Babu #Bramayugam:A Must Watch cinematic experience.

I watched it today, what a masterpiece. It's a patient watch, but every scene has its significance. Chaathan concept is well explored and film has many layers and backstory. Visuals, audio, bgm, set, lighting is global level. Mammooty is living the character, not acting. Just give him the national award already. Arjun and Sidharth also carries the film in their POV. Only flaw i felt is lag in fight scenes, and some shots lacking continuity in transition, but other than that what a refreshing experience. Must watch theatre experience ❤❤
