He's my only legendary, and I've been a low spender for a long time. He's great, but if you don't have anyone to pair him with, he's only ok. I can actually speak to his CB use because I actually used him for a good while in Clan Boss (he was the first legendary I ever pulled, wasn't till later I began to realize how useful he was cause noob, still kinda am 5 months in to playing) till I got other champs and got them leveled or booked, letting me do things differently. For starters - yeah, you have the one turn poison, that with a debuff extender (like when I had a Jane) or if you opted to increase how long the debuff could last keeps it up for more than just the one turn. His A2 when the clan boss swaps affinities can strip away the attack up - so that the CB does less damage. And then of course his A3, which I used with Jane's debuff extension and my then under booked Frozen Banshee to be able to try and keep her poison sensitivity up as well as poisons and other debuffs from whoever I had in at the time. Had I had him and Jane booked likely would have been even more effective though yes - attack based camp makes him harder to keep up. But he can add poisons (guaranteed if you build crit and not negative affinity), he can strip buffs from the boss, and he can reset cooldowns - like Husk/Royal Guard nukes, Ally Attack skills, raise skills, heals, etc. Pair him with someone like Septimus and right there you have the potential to increase how long any poisons Kymar places last longer, buff removal assured vs spirit and magic CB, an extra turn meter boost (if you have others like Apoc) while the ability to have occasional damage bursts of Septimus's A2 that has damage go up based on enemy max HP (however useful it is, sadly don't have one) to have more damage. Lets say you have that pair, and 3 royal guards with Royal guard hitting for 1.5 mill and Septimus 1 mill even (again, I don't have them, I don't know numbers other than Kymar). As long as Kymar goes last your first 2 attacks are potentially those nukes so you have 11 million damage right off the bat, 4 turns till the nukes are back up, extending the poison's Kymar places now and decrease defence going and staying up most likely, with 2 turns after the next ones Kymar getting his reset back, popping it off for more slams tht you basically get a rotation of slam, slam, cd,cd,cd, Slam, cd, Slam, cd, cd, cd, slam, slam. He's not god mode for CB by any means - but he can be in comps and fill some roles and all solidly enough and maybe work well with what people may have. I'd say a solid 4 especially if you have comps that could work well with his kit.

I recently pulled him and put him in the arena and IG stat. Great legendary. Was: speed up, atk up, def down, nuke. I replaced him in the def down role to strip defenses from all the stupid hyper defense teams like skullcrusher+MM, krisk teams, etc. Definitely has me winning more battles than I used to.

Why are the tournament awards so bad, where are the 2x events, where is battle pass 2.0? I pulled Kymar last week...he's a lil more tricky to use then I figured he would be. So many of my champs don't use auto properly to get most out of his skills cooldown (Serris/Zavia etc...). But he is a really fun and I am enjoying tinkering with him. I think having him will be nice for 3x3 pvp as I will have 2 nice speed leads(arb).

My biggest complaint isn't so much with Kymar, but with everyone else's AI. In Spider, Coldheart leads with freaking Art of Pain, not heartseeker. Then Kymar will waste his reset and Coldheart will use Art of Pain again! It is maddening. I run with 2x Coldheart and could lead the fight with 4x heartseekers if their AI wasn't so stupid.

Sleep doesn’t work with poisons, that is why you need to be careful with using it and often have to speed tune so your poisoner is using some other abilities before your sleep guy goes and then the next turn around you can place the poisons.

i use kymar first (remove buffs and sleep, breaks the other team cutting in, no poison debuffs etc to remove the sleep) then trunda for the stun, then rotos to down whoever is not stunned and finally longbeard to fuck anyone else left up. if it needs more than one go kymar resets skills and i repeat. its disgusting, just relies on speed and acc on kymar. i really need some better speed gear for mine, cant push past high gold 4 yet because of it. my accounts a little thin so he actually is my fastest campaign farm until i get the gear for my bellower.

We know the paying players ( whales) are mostly all in arena, so an event like this lines Plariums pockets. If they wanted to actually help players get through this games content, they would do a 10 X epics. Skullcrusher, Cold Heart, Royal Guard, Miscreated Monster, all the champs you look for when you do a take over and then the normal player base would likly go broke trying to get viable champs. The Plarium offices must be like a weird sitcom. Im sure some of the people over there want to do things differently, but the money people wont let them.

Don't waste your shards. 10x is a scam. Everyone whose played the game for a while knows this. I've literally participated in every 10x since Plarium started this some months ago and I've NEVER pulled the 10x champ. Not 1 time. If 10x were really a valid event you would see tons of KZbin videos of content creators pulling 10x champs. Look for those videos, you won't find them because it's not a thing. It's a scam.

In the last 10x event with Martyr, HellHades pulled a decent number of 10x champs for people during his streams. Anyway, the odds are never that great. You can pull 'em, just don't expect it.
