I think it would be smart for them to do raids for 1 xpac, then strikes for others. I think the back and forth would help grow each section more, as well as continually creating at least 1 fractal with the xpac to develop the story more (i.e. the most recent fractal giving us a look at the past of the tower and Eparch). I am excited for a new raid, especially with the difficulty settings, I just hope, like you said, that the boss isn't stationary. That there are unique mechanics to it that make feel alive and challenging.

I haven't played any of the GW2 Raids so far but I'm most certainly going to check out this one. If it goes well I might even check out the older raids. I've been always interested in GW2 raiding but back when they did them semi-regulary I was not ready for them skill and equipmentwise. I'm most certainly hyped and can't wait to try it out

Those early raid releases were some of my most enjoyed times in GW2, so I’m hopeful that they’ll be able to tap back into that. 🙌

Is there a resource you use for class/build guides? Particularly for learning optimal 'rotations'? I'm thinking of coming back and would love to eventually do endgame content

Snow Crows and Metabattle are two great resources for looking into meta builds! Highly recommend.

@KROOF thank you!! As a GW1 vet I love to hear MetaBattle is still around!

I think and wish that they would add a ''LFG'' autosearch. Where you can simply press the role you are playing. Aheal, Qdps, Tank etc. instead of typing in chat all the time, what role you are playing. Imo it would be alot more convenient.

I hope to god they don't add anymore obnoxious escorts.

You can access this as outdoor meta content as well, so you'll lose nothing.

Oh! Cool! So the "elite" 4% of player base can be happy! XD ;)

Except that casual players now have a way to test the raid mechanics before getting into the one. The update said that they will incorporate the new raid into the open world for the casuals to test the waters. It's still a long way to make raids more accessible but it's heading the right way.

@@frankmills1917 Exactllyyyy. Frank you get it. Big W for you.

Yup you don't have to be elite to get into raids, you just have to put in a lil effort. Totally with it, raids are the most exciting content in the game IMO

You get it as outdoor content as well. The content is reused as a raid, so you get the narrative open world and then three difficulties in the raid. I find this a better solution than Strikes since the Strikes are like the old raids, you only engage with them if you seek them out specifically.
