I thought stand 1 2 is 0 on block? Stand 1,2,3 is plus on block but you can be poked out of the 3 (last hit) or they can flawless block it. A couple added notes Stand 2 is plus on block Back 4 is plus on block Shocker is an amazing anti-air that you can go right into a combo;also stand 3 is a great anti-air. (Nvm wrote this before i got to that section.

Dude I’m far from a good fighting game player but even I was able to figure out 50% combos with Raiden in less than 30 minutes. He is busted. Yes he has flaws but I think they are going to at least nerf his damage.

Can somebody explain me what block advantage means? Block +4 or block - 9 is Chinese for me. Thanks

Those are the frames after someone blocks your move. If it is +3 you can move 3 frames before your opponent. If it is -3 they can move 3 frames before you can move. The frame data in the menu isnt all accurate. You need to turn the frame counter on in practice mode and manually try the moves to know for sure. Unfortunately NRS messed up a lot on the frame data. Hope that helps!

I'm curious as well because I main Raiden and I have a lot of problems opening people up and having people mash on me. 1 thing I did learn is I do I mix in forward 3 4 with a forward 3 back dash forward 3 4 or do foward 4 forward 3 mixed in with foward 4 3. Forward 4 throw forward 4 down 1. Ect

@@Gamingwithgleez might be because of who I’m using. I struggle against Random Raiden players spamming that Cartwheel kick launcher paired with Sareena kameo and relentless d3 after every string on block. I use Havik and i really struggle to land hits. Maybe it’s a skill issue lmao 😂

@@DaddyShaoKahn You should be able to punish the cartwheel. Once you block the F3, poke with D1 and convert off of the juggle. I will take Havik in practice right now and see what I can find.

He’s good but not that good. He lacks in 2 areas. Range and Speed. The range on his normals is TERRIBLE. You cannot afford to be mid or long range ESPECIALLY against certain characters. And this guy’s speed is so slow. Trying to do anything that’s not f434 is just too risky. And most of his strings can be neutral ducked and punished. It’s WHY everyone just does the same F434 string. Because it’s all that works. Outside of that, hes got crazy animation time for everything. Projectile? Crazy start up time. Most strings? Crazy start up time. Electric fly? Wild start up time. Teleport? INSANE START UP TIME. Have y’all actually tried fighting other characters with Raiden? Like Liu Kang? It’s impossible Liu Kang is infinitely faster and has way more range in his normals. It’s like he’s good at literally nothing but has all dmg to make it up for it (which is not a good thing btw) As a main if this character I can confidently say that those 3 things are his biggest flaws that don’t have him top tier. It took a lot of L for me to actually see this. I’m a Demi God and it just makes so much more sense now. He’s good, but not top 5 you guys are wild.

Been playing MK since it started He actually feels powerful and stronger than ever he definitely S tire you just have to know how to set people up and be more offensive and not give the opponent time to set up anything he straight offense

@@90LocsOnMyCrown yeah I know. But one tiny little mess up or if the opponent doesn’t let you get the chance there’s close to nothing he can do. He’s the only character I use in this game so far it’s only with Raiden that I made it to Demi God and almost God in ranked. And I have a at lvl 35 too. The only one. He has weaknesses. He’s really only op if people don’t Ino how to deal with him. You get a good enough player and Raiden feels B tier at most.
