There was the perfect buildup and introduction for her. We’ve seen venti abandoning his nation, Zhongli””being murdered” and leaving his nation for themselves and then we get to Inazuma where Shogun reigns with an iron fist. It was such a great and refreshing story mix up. Can’t wait to see what Fontaine has in store for us

She and her brother used to travel worlds, didn’t the god that chained her to this world also weaken her powers? To be able to travel worlds is a strong thing in itself.

The thing that sets apart the inazuma archon quests from the others is that the archon was THE VILLAIN. Ofc the fatui were still involved as usual but for the main events it was Raiden vs everyone else and the fact that her story and the plot surrounding her bleeds over into other world quests and affects so many of the stories that take place in inazuma is why the inazuma archon quests are the best ones imo. Even better than the sumeru ones.

Ok, while I agree that Inazuma’s archon quest was better than what people say it is, I wouldn’t say that it is better than Sumeru’s archon quest. Sumeru fixed a lot of what Inazuma was missing, which was mainly connection between things. In Inazuma, people say they are doing things, and that a lot of cool stuff is happening, but you almost never see any of that cool stuff, and some plot holes are fixed in post after the fact because the writers couldn’t fit it all in initially. Sumeru on the other hand has the player witness a large part of all the important things in the story, giving perspectives and mysteries on all sides before finally it all culminating in one epic finale that ties up all loose ends in the story, aside from the overarching stuff in the larger narrative.
