Based review. Got 3 artisan pads otw one of them being raiden mid. I think I’ll really like it, coming from a skypad 3.0

I’m sure you will! Raiden should feel right at home from a Skypad

Do you have any experience with games like league? I'm considering either Xsoft or Soft. I'm using a heavy mouse (95-112g) with PTFE skates. It's impossible with QCK Steelseries (Control pad) but I'm hesitant because I don't know how slow the Xsoft is compared to soft. FPS games like valorant is a lot different from league. I would choose Soft/Mid but since Raiden is a speed pad I thought it might be better to go for xSoft? What do you think?

League is one of my main games, but as far as softness for it I don’t think it matters anywhere near as much. Theres no real difference between the bases to the actual surface until you apply pressure and that’s when soft and xsoft offer more control. With the Raiden specifically xsoft will be a lot more plush. Personally, I would go for the soft just to keep it on the safe side, but also keep in mind that it will be much faster than the QCK.

@@ozNrev Thanks I'll keep this in mind! Yeah but I'm not very used to control pads such as QCK. I just tried it out a few days ago with PTFE skates and it just felt moving something through mud. I feel more comfortable when it's quick. Do you still use raiden for league? Is the stopping power enough for when you try to land skillshots or hover your cursor over someone to AA?

Would you recommend using Superglides for the Raiden soft? I’ve heard glass skates could potentially damage artisan mousepads.
@ozNrev4 ай бұрын
Personally I wouldn’t. The issue I have with glass skates on a smooth speed pad like the Raiden is you’re constantly micro adjusting since it takes very little movement for the mouse to move. For example, if you were still on wired and you take your hand off the mouse it will move due to the glass skates. If you do end up going with glass, though, it will damage the pad more than ptfe since glass is a harder material than cloth.

is it worth for fps games? (like r6)
@ozNrev4 ай бұрын
I don’t see why not, I barely have any experience with R6 so I can’t give you a definite answer, but you adjust to your setup so even if you struggle with the Raiden at first you’d eventually get used to it. If you do want something with more control the Otsu is always a safe option though.
