Dig the Top 5, though I'd probably still put Spillane at #1. The nice thing is that we have a legit chance at guys like Koonce, Chaisson, and Snowden at fair market value for the reasons you've mentioned. Add Wilson into that mix and they will have an absolutely fresh set of EDGE guys they can rotate in every game-provided they stay healthy. The big $$ will likely be spent on extending Crosby & re-signing Spillane. On offense, there are some good options at WR to pair with Meyers that won't break the bank. Further, the Raiders are set in 12-personnel with Bowers and Mayer on rookie deals. If they can shore up the O-line a bit, it would make that package a bit more daunting as Mayer won't have to stay in and block all the time. Just my .o2.

How many franchise tags can the raiders give? #raiders I would love for the raiders to franchise tag Malcom Koonce and Robert Spillane. Re-sign Epps, Hobbs, Butler, Moehrig, K’Lavon Chaisson, and Deablo. One person that you didn’t include and I wish you did is Desmond Ridder. Guy can ball and needs more work and would be a great third string either behind AOC, Fields or Russell Wilson, AOC and a draft pick. Either way I would love for our QB room to include Desmond Ridder. He’s worked hard and he went out and did what he could. He deserves at least a 1-2 year deal on minimum at least.

I would love it Hobbs took a team friendly deal. He is a dog, is a Raider through and through, but he is a Bob Sanders type player. He will give it his all, all the time, but he will get hurt. Availability is the best ability. He either needs to learn how to be selective with his aggression, or he needs to wrap up differently. Plenty of true football players are Hobbs, but very few of them last.
