I think they should do away with the tarkov style loot scheme. looting should still be done to complete quests, but i think that a supply point system based on class like insurgency sandstorm would make way more sense. With three different factions of PMCs, maybe they could have that country's weapons, like chinese, american and russian for example. looting is still part of the game to gain additional accessories beyond the standard number of supply points you start with. if realism is the goal, a naked guy getting on a helicopter with only a knife would make no sense at all. This way, gear fear, and extraction camping wouldn't be as much of an issue as before. second, the "rebel" or insurgent population is fairly 1 dimensional. I think it would add allot to the game play if booby traps were present especially closer to an objective. the insurgents in the villages should be able to do more, like stage an ambush, or patrol with dogs that can detect players from farther away. ive mentioned before that a squad leader should be able to select a landing zone from anywhere for infiltration, and the mechanic would probably work best with fast roping. for extraction however, a team could create a landing zone on the fly anywhere. although it would create noise(frqom actually clearing the area) and light (white light or NV strobe lights for night time), forcing the team to pop a colored smoke and waiting for the helicopter to extract the team. this would add allot to the gameplay, if rebels or other factions see the smoke and come to investigate, forcing the escaping team to defend the position until they can extract.
