It’s leader Pol Pot was an absolute nutcase and one of the worst leaders in modern history. Believing in some fusion of Agrarian Socialism, Cambodian Nationalism, and Radical Anti-intellectualism, the Kampuchean State was extremely brutal. The phrase “The Rivers ran red” is a saying that refers to something especially deadly happening, playing on the idea that so much blood was spilt, that the rivers were coloured red by the runoff.

@keepitreal like china Anarchism is generally defined as "belief in the abolition of all government and the organization of society on a voluntary, cooperative basis without recourse to force or compulsion." I.e. We believe in the bottom-to-top structured society with a strong emphasis on cooperation and democracy; as well as the collective ownership of communal goods. We wouldn't be defined well as "chaos" because there would be structure in said society - just a horizontal and localised structure instead of the more common heirarchical and national structure. Think more like Athens than Rome, for example (except even Athens had more heirarchy than anarchists would like to have.)

Generally anarcho-capitalism isn't included by other anarchists because a corporation is a heirarchy of itself, defeating the idea of anarchy. In the current world, there are no recognised anarchist countries (Hell, even the Marxist-Leninist countries of Cuba and Vietnam are only considered socialist by some, more Marxist, socialists). However, there are several regions with very libertarian socialisms, such as the Zapatistas in México and Rojava in Syria.

Literally have attempted this multiple times and I can only say you get lucky. With the recent patch, Champa will ally other nations and Viet will be a useless meat shield, Ming will not take any forms of peace until they are at your borders. After luckily taking Champa I then find myself stuck for decades because Ming never explodes, in fact now they even form multiple vassals. I get lucky if I am able to use someone else as a meat shield but eventually nobody will be able to help anymore.
