Hi Raif. As a MSM who prefers bareback to condom (with known guys ofc) I decided to start daily PrEP few years ago. Believe or not - my best sex ever was with an undetectable partner. Thanks to medication and PrEP HIV status is no longer a topic in my sexual life. I take every precaution necessary to avoid other STIs. PrEP & U=U community is the safest environment, if you get screened on regular basis. The best benefit of PrEP is however fighting the stigma. Okay so I'm changing from Biktarvy to Triumeq. I'm slightly concerned about my partner and I because I heard of what the doctors called a "blip" in my viral load. Try looking into peripheral neuropathy as it sounds like you have peripheral neuropathy pain. Gabapentin and pregabalin are the two pain meds specifically for nerve damage. Opiates will not help you with peripheral neuropathy, they help but they don’t cure it like gabapentin does. I’m prescribed 6 300mg capsules for this pain every day. I’m not a Dr but that’s what it sounds like to me.. these ARVs are oral chemotherapy tablets, what is this ARV word, it’s oral chemotherapy. Call it what it is. And it destroys the body. As it’s chemotherapy.
