I'm not alone in saying how much I like RSK and still listen to them often. But recently I've found it harder to enjoy them because of Ricky. He didn't mention Steve once, even after a question mentioned Steve.
@randomrob37154 жыл бұрын
How do you know it’s because of Ricky? Maybe Steve was getting more and more jealous of Ricky being the most famous or something similar? Or thinking he was the most talented and Ricky was stealing the lime light? You never know what happens when the cameras aren’t on. What I’ve always got from Steve is, he is a bit of a moaner and all talk. He moans at Karl for not having a go at certain things, or not being open minded, but you can tell Steve wouldn’t do half of the stuff Karl had to do on his travel show. Always got the impression Steve didn’t like Karl very much and was only there because of Ricky. We know Ricky has talent as he has done some great series without Steve. That is the best part about it Karl. It was natural. You didn't need to make any more effort. Your effort is just right.

"Make his head rounder" Fucking hell Karl hahahaha!

The best part about Karl is that the things he says are always what we’re all thinking anyway! They make him out to be an idiot but a lot of his complaints are on point. I think we all relate to Karl more than Ricky and Steve

The more I see of Steve Merchant, the more I admire his detached coolness.

I know what you mean, post XFM Steve genuinely is pretty cool

Seems OK but, if things don't go his way I'll bet he's highly strung

The start of the video where the interviewer said Stephen merchants name first really hit a issue between the two that still exists to this day- no one seems to mention Stephan was the creator of the office and extras too everyone just thinks of Ricky when these shows are mentioned - Ricky took all the glory
@joesheppards14 жыл бұрын
And it’s even called the Ricky Gervais show lol. I would be pissed off if I was Steve. Ricky does hog all the limelight. I mean The Office was Steve’s idea originally anyway.

they should do a show where karl meets up with really important people, Ali G used to do, and have him ask his own questions.
@magnushelin0075 жыл бұрын
Very good idea! I fully support that.

The best part of this video is the fact that the audio is all from the room and Karl's lav mic. Stephen and Ricky aren't even using theirs because Karl is just too damn funny.

what does that even mean? This show absolutely broadens my linguistic horizons. I think I now even speak with a British accent as a non-native English speaker. Thanks to Karl Pilkington

1:01, the way Ricky says "we did the record breaking podcast", you just know if that was on the XFM shows Steve would have ripped him apart for that and called him punchdrunk
@jordanrochester60303 жыл бұрын
Possibly controversial take here: Yes, Ricky is funny, Stephen is even funnier than him, but, Karl is downright hilarious because he's just a typical northern guy, brutally honest and easy going.

I wish they would do this with just Merchant and Carl, then maybe I could listen to it.

The interviewer isn't very likeable he's always trying to get a one up on them, and then there's a cut off of him nodding intently like he's on question time 😂😂😂

That "Also a channel" from Steve is a very, very under-rated line.
