Trains can't stop that quickly, plus the driver can't predict when a motorist or pedestrian is going to commit suicide by trying to beat a train at the crossing

Doesnt surprise me, tbh. Locomotive operator is bound to be a very mentally straining job. Gotta use all that time to mentally prepare to deal with so many things
