As someone who was at that house show back in Feburary in Prescott, AZ. Those "meth heads" Were the sweetest, most loving people I ever met in any show. In fact, Railyard ghosts themselves were so incredibly kind. They all hugged anyone who wanted one. They made themselves in the same level as everyone and By far my favorite show from how personal it was. This song was amazing. Everyone was so welcoming. I am happy I got to be a part of it.

Revolutionary punk!! This is exactly what the world needs! "There are more of us than them, why dont we take a stand" Beautiful! Keep in mind, any movement, any uprising must be done in peace. No fires no broken windows no tipped over cars no fights no killings. We cannot repeat the past and just kill our fellow brothers and sisters who think differently than us. We must Unite with our fellow brothers and sisters to overcome the real poison that humanity has always suffered from. We need to remove the oppressors, the people hording all the money all the power and keeping all the people of the world down and destroying our planet all for greed power and control. But if we riot our own streets we are keeping each other divided. Like Bob Marley said "They dont want to see us Unite, all they want us to do is keep on fussing and fighting. They dont want to see us live together, all they want us to do is keep on killing one another"

Unfortunately we don't live in a perfect world. Just go watch "Winter on Fire: Ukraine's fight for freedom" on netflix. People tried to peacefully protest and it got them nowhere. They were *forced* to riot to overthrow a corrupt president and over turn a rigged election. They weren't breaking windows or flipping cars, they consistently tried to protest peacefully just for the police to get violent out of nowhere and even worse the government literally paid people to pretend to be a protester and throw things at the police or act violent just so the police had an excuse to throw stun grenades and tear gas at the entire crowd to try and force everyone to leave. Peaceful protests will Never work. In Ukraine it was *obvious* the election was rigged by Russia because Ukraine wanted to leave RU and become part of the EU nations; and the "president" was practically a dictator yet still he had many supporters and it took a Lot of violence and death to over throw the corrupt government. America will never see any kind of "revolution" without a *lot* of violence and honestly probably even a civil war. We can't just "take a stand" peacefully, no matter what there will be millions of ignorant people who support whatever their corrupt politicians and biased media tells them. We *are* divided between the informed and the ignorant and a lot of those ignorant people will never be convinced. The future looks dark and I can promise you peace will not change it. There's a difference between breaking random windows and flipping cars for no reason; and overthrowing corruption and greed. The latter takes a violent uprising 9.9/10 times. I really Really wish we could change the world with love and peace but that's not the world we live in. Love, peace, and harmony are the goal. They are not sufficient enough tools to get us there no matter how badly we believe in those things and want them. If we want to reach that goal, it's going to be settled over violence and conflict whether we like it or not.
@nope73917 жыл бұрын
The way this world is is not because we got here being peaceful and not killing. I expect the same to get out of it, peaceful protests sound nice but fighting war with peace when it comes down to really making a change, in my opinion, doesn't exist
@wastnTIMEwastnTIME7 жыл бұрын
The sad thing is that you both are right. "It takes a revolution, to make a solution" "So arm in arms, with arms, we'll fight this little struggle. Cuz that's the only way we can, overcome our little trouble" "But someone will have to pay, for the innocent blood, that they, shed everyday. Oh children mark my word, its what the bible say, yeah yeah oi!" -Bob Marley Even Bob Marley one of the most peace loving human beings to ever live here on our planet knew you had to get up, stand up and fight. But I believe that there are much much more peace loving people living here on this planet than there are non peace loving people living here. I'm hoping that one day humanity will evolve enough to actually achieve "Peace on Earth/Heaven on Earth" Because its just self control. We as human beings control how we live. All we have to do is choose to live in peace and harmony and it is done. I know its sounds unimaginable but I believe that one day it can exist and be real. I just hope it doesn't take us a billion years to evolve to that level of humanity :-D Also, I'm going to watch "Winter on Fire" on netflix thanks for the suggestion! "Overthrow a corrupt president and over turn a rigged election" hahaha sounds like the story of the USA in 2017 :-D

Maybe because it's shitty? There are worse places, but there are also much better ones. There are countries that actually have Democracy, Universal Health Care, and don't lock up millions of their own people for petty Bullshit , including exercising the freedom to do what they want with their own bodies. As Americans we own a lot of stuff, most of it useless, but that doesn't mean " we have it good". Visit Western Europe or Uruguay and get a glimpse of freedom.

as a nonwhite anarchist i love this shit but it makes me feel kinda alienated, keep it up thought it's really good. it's like watching old movies where all the cast members are white or where misogyny is normal. i feel so alienated and gross, but i suppose it's different and i suppose we all deal with different levels of alienation based on whatever categories we are born into, like sets of castes. i know it's not on purpose, i know you all mean the best. idk. stupidly enough, even something like tokenization would probably calm my nerves; which is stupid, stupid, stupid. idk, keep it up though, i love the music.
@hannahr27754 жыл бұрын
you're not alone as you said we are all alienated for one reason or another but never forget the struggles you face independently. Other people cant understand what you have been through personally, and your story is 100% but never feel alone, that's what the oppressors want. They want you feel disconnected

I mean I agree with you and I don’t disagree with them (the band) it’s just they seem too naive and joyous and proud. It’s like show a little shame feel a little embarrassed.
