That was a really great video. I also love Railblaza products and have the exact same model of Seadoo GTX! + 1 new subscriber. 😃👍

Thanks mate, do you have the same colour ski? 2012?
@crom29a2 жыл бұрын
@@FishoDavo Yep exact same colour scheme as yours. I thought mine was 2013 but I could be wrong. I bought it 2nd hand in 2015.

Oh yeap would be 2013 too, it changed to orange for 2014. And in 2011 it was red

That looks like a really versatile setup. I can see a few that will be useful on the boat for me. Especially the camera boom.
@FishoDavo3 жыл бұрын
Yeah the boom is great, I've used 2 of them at one stage (borrowed a second one from a friend)

Nice Video....Is the StarPort Std strong enough to hold the Rod Holder II if you snag a large fish when trolling?
@FishoDavo2 жыл бұрын
You have to set up the drag right, I have mine set quite light, just tight enough so that even if I go 2km/hr faster the drag will allow line out. I've hooked a few kingfish while trolling stickbaits this way, you can see in one of my earlier videos.

Hi FishoDavo, Nice video! I have the same model as yours a 2010 Red GTX 155. I'm planning on putting this on my ski as well. How did you drill the screws? Did you use nuts to secure the bolts?
@FishoDavo Жыл бұрын
Hi Jan, yup I know the red 155, great looking ski. I got mine done at the jetski service center, but yes it does look like it's drilled and secured via nuts and bolt. I wouldn't be confident enough to do the drilling myself

@@FishoDavo Given my severe lack of experience off shore around cronulla down to wollongong. Initially shallow till I gain confidence. I was thinking of something like a Ugly Stick may around 6 ft? One for light fishing and one for heavier fish.
@FishoDavo3 жыл бұрын
Yeah those ugly stick are built tough, and then get a Penn Slammer to pair with it, perfect for the ski

@@FishoDavo Thanks, I was hoping to not have to drill holes. Just wondering if its possible to stick the HD mount down…
@FishoDavo3 жыл бұрын
I don't think it would be strong enough. Railblaza does have stick on mounts designed for Ribs though, more surface area might make it stronger. I have a 2012 ski so I didn't mind having holes drilled in
