Oohh yesss I remember this too. That is to say Jan 2010 as described below the screen. The snow from February 2021 (as shown in the top left of the video) was nothing compared to 2010. Or at least it felt that way to me. i have no idea why this video mentions 2010 ?! At the time in 2010 I was working in Den Bosch. During the day it became clear traffic would face heavier and heavier snow. I went home early, we were adviced to do so and I took an earlier train to Eindhoven. A good thing because otherwise I would have had to spend the night at the Central Railway station of Den Bosch. In Eindhoven i took my bicycle ( i always take the bike to the railway station) but it took me a loooong time to get home. In february 2021 i was working closer to where I live. i wanted to use the bus instead of my bike, buy you guessed it: NO buses. So I had to take my bike anyway...

Many Dutch people prefer to use their bike above their car. Especially if you work not far from where you live. I have had my fair share of snow biking myself....

The really cool compilation (cool - LOLO). often pull up your channel before going to bed and fast forward or back to watch some trains pass. A friend is a Machinist and I like to imagine him driving past.

''Changing their tires''?!?! What do you think - we are in Switserland, or in Canada? LOL. But seriously: Dutch winters have become rather mild the last couple of decades. Yes some of us have winter tires or winter chains. most of us do not.
