Bail on the independent is very much for modern power. It just releases the locomotive brakes account the main brake sets every brake on your train. If you don’t bail it off you will get a hell of a slack run In.

Thanks for your video. I have two days. Rum experimented and the controls just could not handle it. On the verge of despair and just about to lose the game. Did I then find your video on KZbin. nice tutorial, but pretty wild way of changing gears in 101 @ 32:00 it would be great if another leaver could be used as gear selector.

I so want this but they seem hard to get hold of at the moment in the UK. Your video described everything I was hoping except for the AWS reset button. I assume one of those large buttons can be assigned to this?

The best place at the moment to buy them direct from the manufacturer is on Amazon. Thank you for this video. I am waiting for my RailDriver to be delivered in a few days. I am currently using Train Simulator 2020 64 bit (win10). Do I have to install a soft that concerns TS2019 ??? There is no driver specifically for TS2020 on the manufacturer's website.

Hi! I have a question... two: first , can this shit be calibrated in a mirror? So that the full brake is at the bottom and the full release is at the top? Well, the traction controller, respectively-full throttle at the top, and dynamic braking at the bottom? If possible, with a video example that all of the above works correctly (in any simulator). The second question: is only the reverser handle in three positions fixed with a click and the traction controller handle in the average position? The brake handles are purely blunt moving, like joysticks, nothing more? Thank you in advance for your answer.

First question at 13:20 he shows you can inverted the controls, so you can have the controller work with the brake at top for full brake and at the bottom for full release, or inverted i.e. the other way around. You can do that both sets of brakes, the throttle and the reverser. Also you can have just 1, 2, 3 of them inverted or all 4 of them, so the brakes could work one way and the reverser the other if you wanted. Second question, I agree it does look like some of the handles are a bit too easy to move, but you can hear some clicks and without trying them you can't really tell, how good they are.
