Great layout! I remember seeing Mopac jenks blue diesels here too and yes those spark arrestors on the GP38-2s GP15-1s and MP15s really made them look distinctive and yes I have some Mopac jenks blue diesels.

Very true. The spark arrestors do make a big difference.. got a few more projects coming. Been sidetracked with a few other things and, of course, work.. thanks for watching!

Mopac switching, covered hoppers, grain silos - it just doesn't get any better than that! Great job on the video George, and on detailing #1539 - love those spark arrestors on the MP15DC.

No matter how many times you hear a non turbo emd it's just as good as the first time.

Scott Kunkel I agree. This layout is fun to operate. And music to my ears! (Sorry, I’m not on FB.). Thanks for watching.

Thank you for posting this. Im also a Mopac modeler. B23-7's are my favorite in either Jenks Blue or UP colors. Heres a tip. On Ebay, yesterday theres a MP Bay window caboose in brass for sale for $250.

After immersive engine startup sounds (very nice) engine launched out like a hotrod? Hope someday this hobby grows into big boy status w/ sound and performance on an equal keel to the prototype...

Josedav when did it take off like a “hot rod”? Momentum is already high, so it doesn’t. Don’t know what “hot rods” you’ve been in, but the ones I’ve owned and driven take off much faster! And, please define “big boy” status? Clearly, as illustrated in this video, I am using many prototype practices here, including switch men, brakemen and braking and proper clear class light indication for ‘extras’. Not sure how much more you can add without mini robots.
