An absolute pleasure to watch part 2. I was once again blown away by the scenery and the engineering required to build such a railway.

Those aren't buttercups, they're yellow rape plants, part of the brassica family, used to make canola or rapeseed oil. Very profitable.

“…for someone like me that enjoys very long train rides though beautiful countryside.” Pretty much describes all of us watching your channel. 🙂 Thank you again for taking us along another another wonderful adventure.

Nice trip, great scenery, hope you got the connection. Totally agree your comments about UK train information - last week we were out and about between Attenborough and Welshpool and 3 of the 5 5 trains had duff information about the train set up - and one train manager that made us walk up the platform because we were standing by the first class carriage! Waiting for XC Customer Service to respond on this!

Just inject this route into my veins! 🤣🤣🤣 Looking forward to the Slovenian leg .... Ljubljana, Kamnik, Triglav and the rest of Slovenia were among my favourite parts of my recent jaunt around central Europe. Cheers!

Regarding the EC163/164 trains Graz to Zurich, it is magnificent Alpine scenery almost the whole way. But this is one of the few trains in German-speaking Europe where i would advise that a seat reservation is absolutely essential 365-days-a-year and in both classes. I have first hand experience of how busy this train gets!

Very many thanks Johnny for yet another excellent video! And the presentation of your videos is just getting better and better! Please keep on posting a map of the journey you are about to undertake! I did not need a map for this section of your journey, but I will certainly need one for the run through Slovenia, a country i have never visited!
