1:00, the train looks as though it is teetering and tottering but looks really neat at 2:37. It must be fun living in those houses. But then look at 4:00👍.

It was fun chasing it but trains no longer run there. Ingenia bought the line and now use a trackmobile. :-(

Excellent video Walter! It was worth the wait! $4.00 to get in! You can't go wrong there! I wonder what scale the B&O F7A and the steam locomotive were?! They are big! Very appropriate to have a freight train sound in a train show! As long as it's not going through the building!

CN track Foreman who looks after it. :-) S.C.Johstons hasn't had a single car in about 4 months, and there's serious talk that Ingenia is going to off load their covered hoppers to trucks inside Brantford yard. I will let you and everyone else know as soon as I hear more. The city of Brantford will sure be happy, they have wanted that track tore up for years.

Just rebuilt that line.

In some case, this track is now privately owned by Ingenia.

the train riding up the side of Clarence St. is like that bratty kid who rides his bike on the sidewalk even after he's been scolded not to do so!

Fun video! Thank you for sharing it. 2:08 Why are the mee-mool lights *(o)T(o)* on the wrong side of the track?
@railpast6 жыл бұрын
Not sure what you mean.
@robertgift6 жыл бұрын
Normally, mee-mool lights *(o)T(o)* are on the right side _before_ the crossing.From the approaching driver's perspective, *(o)T(o)* are after crossing the track.
@jameseaton1286 Жыл бұрын
There's no requirement to have them on the near side of the tracks, as you're suggesting, as long as they're visible from both sides of the tracks - and one post is cheaper than two. Double-sided crossing light poles, such as these, are very common in Canada. You seem again at 4:30
@robertgift Жыл бұрын
@@jameseaton1286 Thank you. Most mee-mool lights *(o)T(o)* are double-sided. Exceptions are one way streets where no lamps face the wrong direction. As an Operation Lifesaver presenter, manyears ago I suggested that *RAILROAD CROSSING* crossbuck signs have *RAILROAD CROSSING* printed on both sides. Normally printed on.e side. Now I am seeing them on BOTH sides!

Wow very close beside to the train in that 3 video segment. So what is the story on these rails. Are they still in used now? Just no longer being serviced by CN no longer I gather from other comments on Brantford rails videos.
@Trains4Fun8 жыл бұрын
TheBrantfordRailfan Yes BrantfordRailfan you read my mind. I was hoping to get some specific times, but with the schedule having such uncertainty. I'll probably have to pass on this line due to limited spare time and financial cost of driving out to Brantford my not be worth the effort. However I still enjoy watching these trains make their way through Brantford!! Great videos indeed.

I thought they told you to get off the tracks or the train was too close to your camera.
@railpast8 жыл бұрын
Camera was a long way from the train. I had it zoomed in as they were approaching and was shooting photos so never zoomed it out making it look like the camera was close but really was about 10 feet from the train.
@TrainmasterCurt11 жыл бұрын
Of course they choose trucks, probably cause of complaining motorists
