I picked up the two newest versions because the game looked interesting, and was wondering if I was missing out a lot on the blue/red versions (and if they were noticeably different, given the "challenge" added to the name). How would you rank all 4 of these games? You mentioned red is your least favorite. How do rank the rest? I'm trying to decide which to get. The completionist in me wants all the expansion dice for options but I wish they just sold them as dice packs as opposed to having to buy multiple base games.

I have debated getting the big full on set but with 4 games that 8 expansions before all the other boxes of expansions. Blue is the easiest to get to the table but I think Green just pips it with the challenge cards. so Green > Blue > Yellow > Red :) enjoy whichever you get!

I find railroad ink is better played with the expansions.

The Lush Green and Deep Blue expansions are great - now I'm able to play with people more regularly it's easier to get expansions to the table!
