Makes sense the S&E is the youngest since the 4-4-0 is prototypically the youngest type of locomotive in the game.

I think The Lannahechee And Midland Rail Co is railroad company because trains that are owned by it appear in many story missions and they even have a refrigerated carriage, and even a line named the bouay line.

The logo of the Lenehatchee and Midland give Erie-Lackawanna vibes, but given the location, maybe it’s based on Louisville and Nashville?

This is the dumbest possible mashup of sweaty gamer nerd and train foamer, and I am COMPLETELY into it. Also, pretty sure Leviticus Cornwall is at least a little derived from the UP's E.H. Harriman. If nothing else, time period is about right, and in the first train robbery ("Who the Hell is Leviticus Cornwall" mission) there's the standoff with the employees locked inside the train car who shout "I work for Leviticus Cornwall!" in what seems like an obvious reference to the film 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid', where an employee locked inside a train car being robbed refuses to open the door, repeatedly explaining that "I work for Mr. E.H. Harriman."
