I like a dark reddish brown with gold lettering on SW1. Looks pretty sharp the roof and catwalks are black and handrails gold, nice contrast. Inspired by the Toronto Hamilton and Buffalo RR. I hope they someday add the ability to do two colors on the body.

I also hope for the opportunity to customize the paint scheme more. I would imagine if that ever becomes an option, it will be quite a time from now.

I imagine on the prototype you would have to load the locomotive and tender onto a flat car, there's even an old photo of them doing that with Southern Pacific #9, but I cannot imagine Railroader has a feature like that implemented, due to the fact it wouldn't be done too often.

That would be a very cool feature for them to add with the MOW and maintenance update planned for the future. Make you bring a crane, flat cars or two, etc via a work train. Would definitely be a unique feature and one I personally would appreciate.

i use yellow for my m,o,w cars and my switchers you can fit 8 cars on that spur saw mill with a small steamer

Yellow is a great color for a switcher. And I think I’ll keep the SW1 for Whittier as it fits that little spur nicely!

Do Cr or pevlar blue or black or CRR grey

CRR gray is one I would like!! Although I go like blue colors also… man tough choices.

I honestly the CR blue would look great especially on the sw1 and GP9
