IHB, NS & CP trains on the East End between East Chicago and Gary, Indiana. Shots taken at IHB's Michigan Ave. Yard, Lakefront Yard, East Chicago Diamonds and Pine Junction. Pretty good video, although I'm pretty sure when IHB 115 goes to Burns Harbor, it goes right to the Port in Burns Harbor and interchanges with the Burns Harbor Shortline Railroad. Also the w/b CP autorack train should be CP 137, or something along those lines bound for IHB's Gibson Yard. And I'm pretty sure that's the 118 switching cars with the IHB 1501, not the 116

Love these vids. Just out of curiosity, the opening clip is the Nickel Plate and CN locos pulling some orange MSW containers. Who's the customer that accepts those, or where are they going to/coming from in the area?

Thanks a lot! My intro is from back home in Jersey. At the time that was Q567, a daily empty auto train out of Newark, NJ which happened to have a cut of the garbage cars that day. The orange trash comes out of Staten Island handled by Conrail, which is then interchanged to CSX. New York City's Department of Sanitation loads these containers with garbage from the City at their Fresh Kills transfer station, it ultimately ends up in land fills down in North Carolina.
