This movie was good but not needed like AT ALL. We already had several parts where a group of people were trapped and hunted by the aliens.

That's literally the whole premise of the franchise. It wouldn't be fun to watch if the aliens were outmatched by a bunch of well armed and trained soldiers who know exactly how to defeat them, the movie would be over in 20 minutes. What makes for suspense and good drama is for a group of unsuspecting characters to encounter the aliens and slowly learn how to defeat them as they're each getting picked off.

@@markavaldez11 yeah and that has happened like a million times before in other franchises as well, Prometheus and alien covenant were so much better than this because it was something new and they just can't make something like that anymore, all they can do is just repeat the old format and make movies like romules now.
