Looks like an exiting flight! I had a water in and outside flight last summer in our clubs old Ka6cr. Amazing lift on a newly formed small cold front in rain, gained 5000 ft in no time at all. The Ka6 has the air vent on the front of the canopy so the choice was a fogged canopy or a taking a good shower...

How does the Euro rules work for proximity to clouds? I guess clear of clouds above 10,000? Or what? How's it work for US and Euro glider flying?

FAR 91.155 Basic VFR weather minimums in Class E: Below 10K ft it’s 3 mi visibility, 500 ft below, 1000 ft above, 2000 ft laterally from clouds (3-5-1-2). Above 10k ft, it’s 5 mi visibility, 1k ft above, 1k ft below, 1mi lateral from clouds (3-5-1-1).

I should add that it is difficult from a video to gauge distance below or laterally from a cloud. And in person you usually feel closer to a cloud than you truly are. Don’t need any armchair pilots here telling Bruno he violated minimums.
