If you like customization I recommend "Dress my Slugcat" ALSO! if you're ant funny silly sounds I personally have pipe sound for spears and when I kill scaves, I also have the "YIPPEE" Mod for when I do backflips or a lizor does a yeet. I have "Push to Meow" and even the "Blood" mods. I have the "Yoda death" sound for when I die and my favorite, I gave the miros birds "MINE MINE MINE" mod

Outer expanse is soooo gorgeous but my two gripes with it is, a) jungle leeches and b) for the region where you gotta take slugpups for their happy ending, it is probably one of the more unfriendly regions for slugpups (tho that may be intentional?)

im p sure this is a remix option, but you can get them off of u once ur on land by pressing each direction in a circle. it works for other things like daddy long legs grasps too

Read more if you want to have a tip for dealing with jungle leeches in OE Stand on wormgrass for 1-2 seconds. They will slurp up some of the leeches. Repeat until they're all off of you

The only tip I wish I knew sooner about jungle leeches is that you can shake them off by doing circle inputs with movement keys/controller stick. They never tell you this. It's the only way to shake them off without help. Also great video I enjoyed

They're purple, the biggest rot cyst, and they WILL eat smaller rot cysts or anything that's unfortunate enough to be in their grasp. Is it any wonder that their other nickname is Terror Long Legs?

Idk that's just how I always played. After a while you learn to be careful near the edges of the screen. You start paying attention to off-screen sounds or the threat music to know if there's danger on the next screen. Also you can look at the map to see creature icons. The game was designed to be played without camera scrolling and it gives you plenty of help to do so. It's not perfect (as you saw in a few clips you can still be blindsided by a sneaky lizar or bird), but I like it this way. That being said, I get why many people don't like it and play with the camera scroll mod. Play however you find it most fun I say.
