They really, really are.
Sometimes I laugh so hard I cry...
January 30th and we have reached 1K subscribers. The channel has been blowing up recently and my pride is profound. Thank you, all of you. I didn't want to make some weird video announcing it but I want everyone who takes the time to read the descriptions, and leave comments, and make my day to know how happy all of this has made me. I don't think when anyone starts a channel they expect to get much attention, but I really wasn't expecting this.

It's such a common occurrence that there's a mod that was made for the sole purpose of kicking them out of the shelters when you hibernate, so you definitely are not alone in your scavenger woes

Actually they Have 1.2 health if I remember correctly and Hunter deals 1.2 damage by crushing Them with spears and turtle toad is playing as Hunter so The scavenger died with A delay I guess...

@@turtletoad7725 some tips: stay out of their line of sight of any object they want to yeet a spear at be very nice to them don’t play on hunter (they kill you on sight unless you manage to gain reputation fast enough) make sure to not accidentally steal anything out of their hands give them all the porls

Early game I tossed a pearl to a group of three scavengers. The second one grabbed it and ran off along with the third one. The one right in front of me seemingly dropped dead. It just...flopped down and stayed there. I assumed it was a show of submission and felt bad so I crouched down too... It still didn't move. So I hopped over it to awkwardly shuffled into the next screen and then popped back in to see if I could catch it moving. Nope. Maybe it had a heart attack when the pearl whizzed past it's head?

scavengers are very strict. almost always if you do something to upset them, they will kill you. and on hunter you already have reputation against you, making them kill you on sight

They won't kill survivor or monk if you simply make yourself less threatening, like dropping your weapons and crocuhing down, if you just give them stuff they will be chill, hunter though? Hunter is always going to have problems, I still don't recommend killing scavs as hunter because scavenger hunting party's hurt, and scavenger tolls have like 13 scavengers in one spot

Im in my first ever survivor playthrough and this is specificly why the first thing i had in mind was to get the chieftain passage, though the scavs i interacted with were more cautios and half-chill-half-scared with one or two throwing rocks or spears at me (the Spears were warning shots, they never realy hit me) i just got the passage and i just got to shoreline with a squidcada

Scavengers are singlehandedly the best part of Rain World. Most people don't have the patience or the perspective to get along with them though. How would you react if suddenly this white creature appears and can wield tools and weapons, just as you thought only your people can. Eliminating your apex card in this hellish environment and suddenly it starts running in your direction spear raised. You would immediately kill it.
