Just very plain simple explanation of the subject without any endless procrastination. This is about the 5th video I've seen on the subject and is the best yet. -Good job Sir!

Thanks for the tutorial. I expected to be able to find out how to adjust on the official website but no. Your demo was the info I needed.

Thank you so much for posting this informative video. I just purchased two of these heads to see if I liked them, but was not entirely clear on just how to adjust them. The packaging was a little vague, but you were great!

Thanks for making this explanatory video on these Rain Bird heads. (You have to be a troll to be negging this video. It gives you everything you need to know about the heads). Thanks again Heiko's Garage

Yea I like them. I just installed an irrigation system in my front yard..my neighbors have the old school ones that mist everywhere with wind...they are gonna see mine and be like what are those? Lol

How much did you pay? I'm thinking of finally getting one done myself. Tired of dealing with the hoses.

Any issues with dry areas near the sprinkler heads?
@todwod4 жыл бұрын
@@bubthegreat1 No problems as I have all the sprinklers heads adjusted so their radius meets another sprinkler head. If anything I am getting too much water around the heads. I still periodically do minor adjustments here and there to see what works. Since the dry heat of summer is almost here, I will see just how well my layout/coverage stacks up.
@HeikosGarage4 жыл бұрын
no, but those sprinkler nozzles don't last very long. I have since gone back to standard spray nozzles.
@phantommonkey264 жыл бұрын
@@HeikosGarage what went out on them? Did you flush them out by lifting the head up?
@HeikosGarage4 жыл бұрын
@@phantommonkey26 they just stop rotating. I have tried cleaning them but that didn't help.

Heiko, It is R-VAN which means Rotory - Variable Angle Nozzle. Great video by the way.

I recently saw a thing on the Hunter mp rotator, and they seem to be better than the rain bird equivalent.

I think you can also adjust the actual shaft too. At least the version I have allows it.

Thanks. I live in a high wind area and I'm going to try these.

Theory of those nozzle is so good. but too many complaints saying defective rate 50% . Quality control seems the problem. I wonder if you could shorten distance to 6'. I am hesitated to order them after reading Amazon review.

I have since gone back to normal spray nozzels because the rotating once were just not reliable.

How do you adjust the white line starting edge
@HeikosGarage3 жыл бұрын
I thought that would be obviouse. Turn the sprinkler on so the sprinkler pop out and then grab the black stem of the sprinkler head below the nozzles. Then turn whatever direction you want to change the left boundary to.

How have they been working for you? I have burn spots on my lawn..doesn't cover uniformly. I'm going to buy the 32sa heads
@HeikosGarage5 жыл бұрын
They are very efficient. You might just need to increase the watering time a bit. They work great for me here in Nevada (dry weather). I have my system controlled by a wifi timer called rainmachine that collects weather data.
