Rainbow Beach....you can drive on the beach...but don't get caught out by the tide.Here are a few cutting it a bit fine......especially the 1st ones who are heading up the beach!!!

i have done saltwater crossing in SA but i did it in such a way to not get salt water onto my car i guess people just have too much money to throw away

Don't those idiots have a tide chart? In the 1980's a local car hire business in Noosa had dozens of photos on its walls of 4WD's that had been wrecked at Double Island Point. The fools tried to drive around the point on an incoming tide, the cars got held up on rocks, the owners got out, closed the doors, and just watched as their cars bobbed up and down in the water while being slowly destroyed.
