So gorgeous! I haven’t rainbow-fried my shelves because not having my books organised by genre would seriously annoy me, but I have one rainbow shelf for my queer romcoms and it makes me happy every time I see it 🌈

I’ve always organized my books by color and I just know where my books are so to anyone who is thinking about it, just try it! You’d be surprised how easily you’ll start to remember. (I may not have as many books as the next person but it’s still a lot so I recognize that this may be harder for people with a few hundred books.)

I love the rainbow! It turned out amazing! I had rainbow shelves for a very long time, but I gave that up when I moved to my apartment a few years ago. I have a lot of books in storage at the moment. I don't have a perfect organization right now. I'm actually sort of rearranging my books a bit at a time right now. I'm trying to get all my read books together and all my unread books together, but nothing fits perfectly, so its definitely a work in progress!

I just realized while watching this that I miss my rainbow organized selves. But am also digging seeing them according to genre. Unless I do genre then color coded. But then again love seeing same author books together. Dilemmas dilemmas.
