Congratulations, she's so adorable and still in high demand! The different coloured joints are definitely peculiar as are the unwanted marks. It's a shame about the paint job on the daisy shoes because they're gorgeous! She's still a wonderful doll to have in your collection though. 💛💛💛 I wonder which other RH you've got from that wave? Lila Yamamoto perhaps? 🩹☺️

Despite all the issues with her she is still lovely and I'm very pleased to have her. The paint job on the shoes is particularly bad and one of them is a lot worse than the other, I'd rather they hadn't painted them at all tbh and I'm always the first to complain about non-painted moulded details on shoes. You'll just have to wait and see who the other girl from this wave is that I have... although it won't be much of a surprise for you... 😉

I think she was one of the first RH dolls I bought as my daughter has albinism and Delilah shared so many characteristics. So good to see the representation ❤️

I can see you are a RHholic, lol! All the RH girls you have are indeed very cute, this one is no different, she is super gorgeous. Sorry about all the stains she has. Maybe putting pimple cream with benzoyl peroxide and let her under the sun light will help? I do hope so! I love her yellow color so much!

The yellow colour is really lovely, it is such a soft yellow too which makes it prettier. I do enjoy some of the RH dolls but I'm not a completist, so I've just tried to get the ones that really catch my eye. I am going to try washing Delilah first, it's mainly for the dirt mark on her forehead, the rest is less noticeable to me, so if I can get that off I won't be so worried about the rest of the marks.

Wow she is a very pretty RH doll. I love her look and her coloring. I would totally wear her style. I think her blonde eyelashes look pretty. Too bad about the little defects but hopefully she will be happier to be out of her box. Enjoy!🥰

Thank you. Yes, I'm still going to enjoy her, despite the issues. I really love the looks that she has and the quality of the clothing is still great. I really love the cowboy boots, which is probably a good thing considering the paint job on the sandals!

I think I have been lucky so far with the RH/SHs that I've opened as I don't think I've had any issues like this. She is still lovely though, despite the issues.

I love Delilah! Quality control for series 4 wasn't very good. I had to clean up black specks on her face with acetone. Also, the jeans on mine were made so little that they fit the RH Jr. high dolls. I also greatly dislike the rectangle they snipped out at the hem. She's still a favorite though.

I'm going to try cleaning mine up a bit, but will only be trying to wash her forehead, the rest of the issues I can live with. I have no idea what those weird snipped bits at the bottom the jeans was all about! They should have just given her bootcut jeans if they were concerned that she wouldn't be able to wear the jeans with the cowboy boots.

A highly sought after doll, but this series in particular had the worst quality control of all time for RH. I have two Delilahs and she also has all these weird paint markings. Usually the lips are horribly painted all across this series, you have gotten one of the better lips.

Thank you - I'm so glad it wasn't just me. Part of me was wondering if I was being over picky with her, but I never remember having issues with these dolls before like this, although I know that quality control has been questioned before in other reviews I've watched of various RH/SH dolls.

It's very sad to see this happening to you. I'm sure this was not a happy unboxing. This doll is not old and shouldn't have yellowed joints like that... and the stains are the cherry on top 🫣 Don't get me wrong, she is still a beautiful doll. But she shouldn't have all of those issues.

Honestly, I still feel pretty lucky that this is my first real issue with a RH doll, it does make me wonder what I'm going to discover when I unbox the rest of the ones that I have. I can honestly live with most of the issues, it's only really the dirt on the forehead which I don't like as to me that is the most noticeable. From what other people have said this wave of dolls was notorious for having issues.

@MarchPaynesMidlifeDollyCrisis I do have the feeling that nearly all companies have problems with quality control... and dirt! A toy right out of the package should be in new and clean condition. When it comes to RH, my knowledge is very lacking. I have only 2 and they are still in their package 😅 Does she have blushing on her forehand? If not, you could try to use a piece of magic sponge and rubbing alcohol. I often prefer that over acetone. If there is blushing, maybe acne creme is an option?
