The N64 Rainbow Road sample get me choked up everytime man. I was glad to see this make it in 8DX but I really wamted to see GCN Rainbow Road make it in. Maybe in the next game...

It’s so funny. I heard this track in its entirety before I ever played the game and it struck me as a tad too blue for my taste and didn’t quite like it as much. Then I finally played the original track and BOYYYY oh boy did I love it instantly. I think it’s close to unequivocally the #1 Rainbow Road of them all. After that, I gained a newfound appreciation for this track (even though N64 RR is still my fave :) )
