i dug out your book on cassein and read it...again its a great book. Recently discovered your you tube clips which are terrific...the cassein ones are testament to your love of the place...i haven't fished it but on a family holiday i some 12 years ago i talked wife into a day at cassien which was 2 hr drive from our campsite....so i have seen chez pierre and swam in the lake :) even that experience was enough to understand the attraction of the place.....keep these vids coming steve

Hello Steve, what is your preferred landing net size? 42 inch or bigger?
@stevebriggs46388 жыл бұрын
Hi yes 42" suits all of the fishing I do - I've landed carp over 70lb and catfish over 100b in 42" nets so they are more than large enough for all my needs

You’re mate in the boat with waders on and no life jacket 🙈🧠. Other than that a great video 👍

Hi Steve, loving your videos, truly inspirational! Just wondering and excuse if this sounds dumb but do the owners of rainbow supply the boats?
@stevebriggs46388 жыл бұрын
No that's a perfectly reasonable question 👍 but as you guessed the boats are all supplied by the owner with normally one or two in every swim - you can take your own but not much point when they are already there😊👍
@adambolter49658 жыл бұрын
Steve briggs Thanks! Just watching this are you using braid on your reels, though those snags would part it like cotton? Last question!
@stevebriggs46388 жыл бұрын
It's important to use braid on there for the direct contact and stopping fish reaching snags - but I do always use a thick mono leader of normally 50lb for those very reasons and also because there are many rotting tree stumps and the braid cuts into them but the mono doesn't
@richardgrimshaw12028 жыл бұрын
how do I get on rainbow Steve I've heard it's hard I love all your videos by the way
@stevebriggs46388 жыл бұрын
+Richard Grimshaw I can't even get back on there myself Richard - 'hard' is an understatement!
