In this video I am using a 1/8 inch 14 tpi Olson blade, with a carter stabilizer. The smaller blade and carter stabilizer really help with small tight turns. I actually prefer timberwolf bandsaw blades, they seem to last longer.

What is the blue thing holding your blade. Is that a blade guide?

That is a Carter stabilizer. It is an after market blade guide.

@Terry Spade thanks for the reply. I have a Wen 10 inch bandsaw do you think the carter stabilizer would fit on that bandsaw. It has the bearings for giuds. I'm guessing you would take the bearings off and put the carter stabilizer on. I've had a hard time keeping an 1/8 inch blade on it but only been messing with 1/8 blade for a week now. Thanks

@@electrified7309 They make about 28 versions of the Carter stabilizer. And they have demo videos that should help. www.carterproducts.com/band-saw-products/band-saw-stabilizer?product_list_limit=all

Hi Terry, where can I find the plans for the Reindeer, I have made 11 of these but the plan has disappeared off my computer. Any help would be great as some of the guys at the men's shed want to make them. I just cannot find it on the web. Kind regards Steve Sayers
