Finding Gold Nuggets above a Dangerous Gorge in Tasmania!!

Welcome out to one of the wildest but also one of the most beautiful rivers I've ever prospected for gold, I'll be spending two days camped out in the bush exploring the upper reaches of a dangerous river in the search for gold nuggets. On a previous trip with my mate Rob Parsons I scored a nice 2.4g nugget, since that trip I’ve been keen to get. Ack in and see if there’s more nuggets hiding in this location.
I'll be climbing through a large gorge to get to the gold deposits above, trying to avoid venomous tiger snakes and enduring some of the most brutal terrain I'm yet to navigate. Will I make it through safely and what sort of gold lays hidden in the crevices above. One things for sure it's bound to be an epic adventure.

I'm not sure if you'll even see this post, as it's 3months old and I'm just now watching it. You should look up a U.S. Army trenching shovel or trenching tool, this shovel is really short and light and is made for backpacking, I can't help but believe it would save you oodles of time removing over-burden off of your cracks, it would literally take you seconds to remove your over-burden and you could start working the crevices without ruining your gloves all the time. They are super good and sturdy and small and they fold up in the middle so it's super easy to carry, the military uses them to dig massive holes and trenches in really rough or rocky patches. I truly hope you try it out, I just know it would change your world. :). Keep up the good work, I love your videos they are truly awesome ;).

I was starting to wonder where you (&Rob) had got to, but lo & behold Rob pops up a few days ago & now you do too. Not a big haul Levi but Tassie river gold has its own unique color & shape that is worth the wait to see. I do wonder if any larger nuggets are down the bottom of those boil holes. Perhaps a really dry summer might offer a chance to get in there & dig down using the pin pointer. I think i'd have Rob with you so one can keep an eye out for that Tassie Tiger. That species certainly isnt extinct. 🐍. 😁.
