Once upon a time, I made a video for @rainforestalliance called "Follow The Frog". 10 years later they finally asked me to make another. This one goes out to anyone who has ever spent a little too long standing in front of a recycling bin, questioning their own existence.

Ok. An youtube comment will not do much. But I'll do it anyway. I really thought that the ad was way too silly, even though it can be somewhat fresh when giving data about enviromentalism, usually falling into something dull. The "comedy-esque" vibe does not match the necessity of the times we're handling, and the times we're about to handle. It might be impossible to fully comprehend the impact of each individual action we take towards the eviroment, but I would honestly argue that the optimistic view that the ad shows downplays the situation. It's seems like a good idea, to shush the stupid pessimistic voice in our heads, and cheers for not making the ad play on our inheritant guilt, but this might be seen as a "free pass" to just do what we can, while not handling the root problems that cause our ecological disaster. Frankly, these green seals seem more prone to end up as a scheme in the exploration chain than to actively promote change.

I disagree with the EV point. Removing cars entirely in favor of train and bike networks is the best transportation option when considering the environment and our own sanity. This is sadly very US focused by making it seem like there are no alternatives to getting around except for a 1 ton metal box for every single person... and in some cases for just their lunch or dinner thanks to food delivery apps.

Started out as a good message but got unbearably preachy at the end. Good underlying message though of hope and little things ad up.
