I think you're spot on. It seems like the reason cats do so much better is because all the catfolk type races and lions and all that are all considered cats.

There aren't many cats that have triggered abilities outside of the commander so I'm not sure Roaming Throne is an especially good use of budget. It's actively *bad* for Fleetfoot Panther and Hungry Lynx. Edit: I think Everything Comes To Dust from the Doctor Who precons could be pretty good at only $2 7WWW sorcery Convoke Exile all creatures except those that share a creature type with a creature that Convoked this spell, all artifacts and all enchantments. Its not perfect. You can't use your Shapeshifters to convoke this. You may leave behind some of your opponents Scouts or Clerics. You'd rather not wipe your own big enchantments. That said, it's hard to argue with an exile reset button that doesn't touch your creatures.

I was wondering if you plan to make "prenium" or "high budget" decks (+1000$). I also saw that you had made a deck for Tomb Raider's secret lair, Doctor who's secret lair has arrived and there are certain commanders that have interesting mechanics (Celestial ToyMaker or the Meep) I was wondering if you planned to talk about them or make decks out of them?

Sorry that we missed your initial question! We currently don’t have any plans to go into a higher budget with this series and we also don’t have any plans to create a deck using the newer secret lair doctor who cards. Sorry about that!

Can’t believe someone already selling the deck for $1000 on TCGplayer now that it’s sold out. Too many people buying 5 copies just to flip it for $400 + dollars. Wanted it bad but it dropped on a time when I had no money and was not even close to getting paid. Now I’ll have to settle for paying $400 for it when I could have saved a lot if I choose to pick it up. Very sad / frustrated lol 😅

For what its worth, yeah it has the typal benefit for an additional dog token, but how often do you expect to connect with it. Just throw in some Kodamas Reach-type of card and be done with it. I would consider getting a Japanese one (for like 15 bucks) if it would be to battlefield, but not for this tbh

Why Mondrak over Doubling Season or Parallel Lives? Especially since Doubling Season sits at a similar price point and _also_ synergizes with Cathars' Crusade.

Mondrak is a creature and works with creature synergies like beast whisperer. Any token doubler is great in the deck and you definitely want multiple

This upgrade is still new! So I believe it can hold up. The Dino precon is still very good but when it comes to both, it sounds like whoever can get out the most creatures first might win 😂

@@GuysThatMagic I checked the market situation and found out that most expensive cards (and obvious choices) in my country are hopelessly sold out. But i can try ask community. Lot of "upgrades" i found, tore the deck apart and made it into something else, but i like that you wanted to keep it as close to theme as possible. So thanks for inspiration :)

Also the reprints in it alone at the cheapest are around 230. The angels deck ran great and this looks a lot better than I think you’re giving it credit as well. The exclusive cards in this deck are easily gonna cover the cost of the deck and then some. You sound upset when you reply with something like this.

@@metalliholic yeah I said the exclusive cards alone cover the cost and the reprints are worth 230. Also this was before the deck even released, so now we’ll see a slight dip from the $400 price point to down a little for a couple months maybe then back up to the $400+ mark is my guess
