Many years ago I bought a flashlight that nutnfancy was sponsored to recommend. It had a major design flaw on the power switch. Wasn’t an expensive flashlight but I wish he has brought up the design flaw. A flaw that had he used as often as he pretended he did he would have noticed that the power switch triggers very easily and drains the battery before you can actually use it. So either he lied about using it or lied about not knowing about the design flaws. Either way now I’m highly skeptical about KZbin channel product recommendations

thank for showing the xmission oil exchange in such detail. wondering how many shops actually use these fluid exchange machines to carry out. seems complex process with all the setup & machine prep, but becomes simple & logical with practice (will check tmrw if my Toyota hatch uses an oil cooler in radiator. auto xmission oil changes are very rare event, maybe once in my cars 172,000km….shop probably just gravity drained old fluid & pumped in new, without all the flushing additives you use. i’ll never know.

@@April8989 You have to understand transmission filter is not necessary to change accept when you’re doing transmission repair job. Transmission filter is not made out of paper filter like the engine oil filter and it’s situated inside the transmission pan. If you open the pan than chances are there will be leaking even with new gasket on or the tech doesn’t do a good job.

I am concerned about the complete flush for the reason that it might stir up bad stuff, and also my car insists on using OEM oil, and I don't want to bet $30,000 that after-market oil will be just as good. My last two cars have had drain plugs, so I do a drain and refill every 30,000 miles or so. A drain and refill only changes about 1/2 the oil, but if you do it regularly, it keeps the oil pretty fresh. Some cars will say you don't need to change until 100K or 150K miles, but that's just so you'll be out of warranty when you do. It also depends on how much city vs highway miles and if you do any towing. 30-50K miles is probably what I would do on any car no matter what the manual says.

Changing your transmission fluid like you change your oil isn't a scam, there is a gray line where the cleaners and machine methods are concerned, with mechanics on both sides...I don't know which side is correct..I change my fluid like I change my oil..But, with newer cars, it's complicated...

This one brings out the kid in Ray again, using the air hose to blow the leaves, spreading them around, spilling motor oil & trans fluid so he can play with the brake Klean while making the surfaces nice & shiny. It’s neat when you omit checking cabin air filters just to see if your viewers are paying attention🙂. Back in the before you were born we didn’t have fancy transmission fluid service machines to service the trannys. Ray when watching your videos we have to have face shields to protect our faces because you try to slash fluids, blow dirt or hit us in the face with tools or elbows😂😂😂.
