That first trial took me way too long, I kept messing up. After I started your video I went and maxed out my lightning hunter bow, and unlocked the elemental fury valor surge, that made SO much difference. It still took me like 3 or 4 tries after that because when the tremor tusk would go down it's tusks were under the surface of the ground every time it fell. It was getting super frustrating. Now on to the next two! Thanks for the great guide!

Great job on the video guys. It helped me out a lot, especially on the mounted combat trial. On the Shock and Remove trial, I generally like to trigger one of the Shock Canisters near the top of either of the Tremortusk's legs (You've got to remove the protective layering first with Tear arrows and then quickly switch to ANY weapon with ANY Shock Ammo). This applies instant Shock on the Tremortusk in 2 seconds. Once the Canister is hit, I immediately trigger the Part Breaker Valor Surge and that animation is well timed with the Tremortusk getting Shocked. I then tear the Tusks off with a couple of Tear arrow shots. If done right, the overall trial should take less than 15 seconds to complete. Plus, all it needs is a Purple Hunter Arrow upgraded twice or thrice and ANY weapon with ANY Shock Ammo (No upgrades or advanced Ammo required since you're just triggering the Canister). Edit: My comment was for Normal Difficulty. I'm guessing for H/VH/UH, the only difference would be double/triple notching your Hunter Bow of choice.

Interesting. I found ZD’s hunting grounds to be much harder, as well generally just more complex. Especially in The Frozen Wilds.

Great tutorial! I wanted to finish off stuff like the ancient relics, black boxes, melee pits, hunting grounds, etc... before heading into the endgame quest. I think I was too OP ( level 62 ) for this hunting ground at this point. After dialing my weapons down, it was easy to follow your instructions. Thanks for this one guys!

The most annoying part in the entire game is when you’re at the hunting ground and you have to shock the Tremortusk and then shoot off the tusks. As I didn’t have enough elemental buildup when I did it, I was constantly being tossed around by the clawstriders

On the first trial my tremor tusks always had exposed elemental shock so I just shot them to get the tusks

For me, its Tusks are under the ground (not visible) while it's down in shocked state.

also did they patch the arena glitch cause the part where you have to jump on the upper platform and do the walking thingie to get out they added, invisible walls 😭 im doing the glitch after the singularity mission also, i literally did it two,maybe three time before it got weird
