Mine in 1937. I understand that pain you feel only to much. I miss mine to, she was the best mom anyone could hope for as well as my best friend. All we can hope for is the pain to become bearable, and it will in time but it will be a weak, thin scab that covers that injury to our hearts, easily ripped off and the pain comes back, but hold on my friend, lean on God who has the strength to get all of us through the rough times. He never said this life would be easy , but he did promise to always be with us, to get us through it. Hang on, i truly believe our Savior will come for us soon.

My Father waa born in 1942 and my Mother in 1945. Blessed to still have both, despite Alzheimers claiming my Mother's memory. My Father is still driving, living independently, and my 6 Children see him several times a week. These songs, along with old time radio shows, are how I remember our road trips. Boxes of cassette tapes, from Glenn Miller to The Andrew Sisters, and The Shadow and Arch Obler's Lights Out Everybody. My Kids have all been raised with them as well. Not many 5 year old little girls know who Lamont Cranston is, but mine does ❤

this type of music reminds me of my childhood. gathering around with my family on a cold winter night with rain pattering outside watching old disney movies. this music was in all of my favorite disney movies, like cinderella,snow white, and the aristocats. i hope whoever reads this feels the warm comfort and feel of this calming and satisfying music of our past. ah to be a kid once more.
