Raipur-Abhanpur-Dhamtari Railway Project Update: Latest Progress!🚆🚧 📈

Hello everyone, welcome back to the latest infrastructure news. Today, we will discuss the progress of the Raipur-Dhamtari Broad Gauge Railway Project 🚆. Last time we visited Abhanpur Railway Station 🚉, it was nearly ready, with work focusing on the platforms. In the Raipur Dhamtari Railway Project, Abhanpur is the second station to be completed after Kendri, which is now operational 🛤️.
Abhanpur station is now ready for operations, with tracks installed and necessary electronics in place. Safety trials have been ongoing here for the past few months 🔧. Media reports from January and February indicated trials were underway, but it's unclear if they've been completed yet 🗞️.
You might wonder, with everything ready, why aren't trains operating yet? The answer lies in railway safety protocols 🚦. Until all safety parameters are met, trains will not run 🚉. Abhanpur station will have three platforms as a junction, with trains heading towards Rajjim on one side and Dhamtari on the other 🛤️. Platform 1 is ready, and work is progressing on platforms 2 and 3 🚧.
Tracks have been installed quite far towards Rajjim, with signal and electrical wiring poles visible 🚦. An over bridge (ROB) will be constructed here as the Raipur Vishakhapatnam expressway crosses over 🏗️. Finishing work on the tracks is still pending 🔨.
Looking ahead, Abhanpur station will feature a total of three platforms to manage the traffic efficiently. Platform 1 is fully operational, while work on platforms 2 and 3 is nearing completion 🚧. The station also includes a loop line for train stoppages.
In the area behind Abhanpur, minor construction is ongoing. An underpass has been built behind the station to prevent waterlogging during the monsoon 🌧️. This is crucial to ensure smooth road crossings in Abhanpur city.
