Awesome construction! And I agree that technique-wise it really makes sense to have a tall dip stand.

@funwithcalisthenics : You should definitely screw the metal frame to the wooden blocks to avoid fall injuries.

That’s a good idea. Will see what I can do!

Nice job.. Just come across your vids..👍 I had same problem with my dip station. I ended up not using it anymore I just use my gym rings and do weighted Rings dips which I found that worked quite well for me to build some more strength. I'm in my 50s and enjoy calisthenics functional training so beneficial. Keep up the good work. 💪

Excellent mate! You should create something similar so you can perform weighted press up on them next. They are such a great exercise, but also a complete pain in the ass to add any significant loads to.

I use to bend my legs for everything, even when didn't have to, now i i cant stand that form, rather do L-sit, but i have the B-Bars from Base Blocks, there awesome, there high enough and use a step stool from amazon so im not having to jump on and off, was well worth the money i spent

Just googled them, they look brilliant. Not sure they would fit in the living room, and the wife might have an opinion about that too. But it would mean I could watch the tv while working out!

Hello Sir. May I ask you how often you train per week? I am very impressed of your age and discipline for your fitness!!! 👍🏽
@funwithcalisthenics7 ай бұрын
I train three times a week, big workouts, and on the other days, something light, aerobic or day off.

Do you think a weight belt with weights are better than just using a weight vest for dips?
@funwithcalisthenics7 ай бұрын
Personally, yes. But I’ve never worn a weighted vest. It just doesn’t appeal to me, and a belt can take more weight.
