Thanks a lot man. I am 54. You inspired me and helped me with your instructions in this clip to finally achieve the goal. It took me 3 months but first unassisted pull up was done today.

44YO and always been good at pull ups and dips but now want to try muscle ups. Fitted my bar yesterday (think it’s the exact same one as yours actually) but frustratingly wasn’t immediately good at them lol. I’m going to try your advice in the morning with resistance bands and hope I can make the same progress you have 🙂

Congrats ! It’s cool to see not-so-young people doing it, and it feels very realistic. For now we can see it’s still difficult, but it’s only 3 months... and you did it ! If you continue, you will be able to master every movement. Good luck ! (At least you were not fat when you started, it helps. But everybody can do it. If you don’t eat too much and you do exercise, nearly everybody can loose fat and do pull up, with persistence.)
@HereIsANewGuest4 күн бұрын
I didn’t see it was an already old vidéo. Now you are way better, with weighted pull up. :-)
@armnakornthab68675 күн бұрын
0:57 I think driving knees to the bar WITH BAND is harder than not driving the knees (but still with band). From your video, the problem is that for those who still cannot do body weight MU they can’t keep their bodies over the bar when the band pull their legs to the front (as you did at 0:57).

How much space do you need ( distance from bar to wall ) for the muscle up? is yours 90cm?
@funwithcalisthenics6 күн бұрын
I think mine is 75cm
@connormccabe60386 күн бұрын
@ I’ve got one at 55-60cm hopefully it will be enough space, love watching the vids
@funwithcalisthenics6 күн бұрын
@connormccabe6038 if not, just face the wall when you do it. It should work, as long as you can swing out enough.
