But there’s good news: Though we broke God’s Law, Jesus, the prophesied Messiah, perfectly kept the Law, fulfilling all righteousness. The only way I could do a perfect form handstand is when I was doing platform dives: I could curl my fingertips around the lip and that gave enough added stability to straighten up and point my toes properly. Doing it flat on the floor was always much harder.

No, this is a very bad advice that will let you astray for a stupid amount of time. Best advice I can give to beginners is to begin with the stomach facing the wall. the second one is to find a coach, Seriously don't be misled about it, doing consistent handstands is way way waaaaaaaaaaay harder than it seems. Like Juji said with the one-arm handstand but it applies to every level you try to advance, the effort it take to progress is absurd and in the internet there is simply not enough content or content of quality, at least for free

It's a bit of a humbling experience to go into new areas of training. You basically are almost working against yourself, the self that you built up. I remember going to the gym and doing a good all around 3-4 mornings a week and eventually started to bulk up a bit. Then I attempted to surf and found out that just paddling out in moderate surf tired me out in 30 seconds. It's something about pulling your full body weight on a very small foam board through breaking waves and only being able to use arm, shoulder and upper back. You find out that the other areas you added strength and size to are really just unnecessary baggage and just contribute to the rapid fatigue of the arms and back of the neck. So I think it's good to take a day or so off and just do completely different stuff, like almost like endurance yoga, just holding very elevated poses that really rely on inner core strength and not the added muscle you get on your legs for instance. Also some days I will just put on a wetsuit vest and Boogie fins and go in the inside just past shore break and just swim up and down the beach using alternating strokes from crawl to back to breast strokes. It's a good to change things up and work muscles in a different way. Strength is always impressive, but so is this kind of endurance strength.

I had no idea Larry was only 28. I don't follow body builders closely but I do sub Juji and I'm somehow more impressed by what I've seen him do with that in mind.

Juji's ring training video you showed actually inspired me to do calisthenics all those years ago. It's weird seeing it a decade later realizing I'm now the same height/weight as he was then, training the same skills 😂

I follow all these guys and they all seem like good dudes. If I could have any of their physiques, it would be Mitbo. His strength per pound is phenomenal. I used to get caught up in the big muscles but the functionality of such a physique is way more limited. Not to mention the toll it takes on the body with injury and pharmaceuticals. I liked Juju's physique better before he did his big bulk. Way more athletic and functional. His waist needs some work too or more width on the delta. Wheels waist is remarkably small for a powerlifter, good frame for bodybuilding.

Wth, Larry is only 28?! I genuinely thought he was around 40 or maybe even a bit over, so it really took me by surprise when he said something about the age in the video. Kinda crazy! 👀👀

Watching this video after seeing Magnus get direct tips on his sitting handstand from his Norwegian Calisthenics friend was like seeing direct progress only a couple months later. Nice job Magnus! 👊
