Alex Taylor, you're a beautiful & talented human, spirit and soul. Dennis Taylor, you're a exceptionally talented, gentleman and you have the respect of many for your generosity and skills as a father, husband, ect If a guy doesn't like Dennis Taylor, they aren't relevant enough to even acknowledge!!

Many may label it as a "hobby", but it's way more than that...it's a passion and a lifestyle. When conversations and life interactions somehow, some way revolve around or revert to cars, you know it's a lifestyle.

The "influencer" talk is spot on. Being influential is doing good for the sake of good and forsaking greatness. Being an influencer is doing good for the sake of being considered great. It's all about the motive.

One of the thousands 9f reason I sub to Alex, is the relationship she’s with her dad, and the Family dynamic, to live a gearheads life! Denis rocks… and he can be proud of having so great kids!

I like watching Alex race and pull for her every time but i really admire Dennis not just for his skills in building cars but for him just being a great dad....every kid needs a dad that really cares and Alex and her sister have one...

I love the family dynamics that come with Dennis and Alex’s KZbin content. Not only do they build amazing race cars, they also show what a family unit can accomplish together, when they fully dedicate themselves to the same goal. It also shows other young ladies that they too can do what Alex can do. Their KZbin videos give them insight into how everything works, from the initial idea of a car build, all the way to being a complete build, to becoming a successful race car driver. This in an of itself is more than what drivers like Danica and others have been able to show to up and coming young female drivers. I commend Dennis and Alex for providing a learning platform for young future female drivers to build their future in motor sports off of. Honestly, I wish one of my daughters would’ve taken to my love of racing like Alex has done with her father. Lol. My only son gets car sick in freeway traffic. My oldest daughter became a teacher. My second oldest daughter decided she wanted to be a performance artist through interpretive dance. My youngest daughter tries her best to try to understand my love for hot rods, but I think that’s just her way of trying to bond with me. She’s more interested in making makeup tutorials on TikTok. Lol. So here I am, alone in my garage, working on a several year project on my dad’s old ‘86 C-10. Lol. I can’t complain though. It is what it is.

Loved this! That's why "Riding with Alex Taylor" is so good, because it's entertainment with a purpose. They aren't just building stuff for content, she's creating content so that they can build stuff. Alex and Dennis are such a cool team. The best thing on KZbin for sure!

That was a real heart felt video,i no im from the uk but i could relate to so many thing you spoke about. My Dad had his own trucking company and i also learned all the aspects of mechanical repairs and restoration. I drive a truck for a living ,but have always been in to cars and been building street cars form the age of 17. My kids only no classic cars ,and cars being built in our garage. I also used to pick my kids up from school in a cosworth, or a mk2 Escort lol. Love your videos ,you and your Dad are awesome. Stay safe x

Awesome video. I have been watching Alex and Dennis for years. Since Alex competed in her Camaro, with her mum as co-pilot, at just 16 years of age. A true family operation. Alex has grown such much growth in just a few years. Dennis has shown that he a legendary car builder. Can build the complete race car, chassis, driveline, paint and all.

Jeff Bowman, I could not agree more! BADMARO is a wicked car, and that a 16yr old had the talent, respect for it is why she's gotten the accolades she has! I think, given the right amount of time, she could handle a top fuel car in short order. And, what can you say about Dennis that hasn't already been said, but, if I were building a truly BADASS, STREET LEGAL, 6 sec car, my first and only call would be to DTR, hands down!!! I can watch the video of him making power windows in the '55 any time, and it truly inspires me to be better!!!

I have been following her since she was 16 years old at drag week, in the past 3-4 years, I have watched her grow into an unstoppable force with her family right beside her every step of the way. This family is so damn talented and humble, there isn’t anything that Dennis Taylor can’t do, and his wife is incredible, Megan is just as talented with a camera. To learn he came from Orange County and some of his back stories are what we don’t hear about. Dennis is a master craftsmen at what ever he does, if you haven’t watched their you tube channel you are really missing how brilliant he is, the COE he is building his superb. Thanks for this amazing video. Stumbled upon this video and am now a subscriber.❤
Kudos to the guy doing the interview... no interruptions, that for me was most impressive!!!

Another Two-Lane Black Top addict here 🙂 I grew up in my uncle's garage watching my older cousin wrench on his Black 57' Chevy flamed glass tilt frontend running a built 283ci w/Hilborn - injection - Mr. Gasket V-gate inline 4spd shifter* - 12 bolt w/ 4:56 or 5:57 (hey it's been many decades) * That same (Drag Only) shifter that I'd run in my 66' Chevelle SS Ok getting back to my cousins 57' and Taylor that story you had about sitting the front seat of one of your dad's cars and it scaring you but you still loved it ! I have almost the same story as I sat in my cousins wicked 57' during a launch... He left wheels up and when he banged 2nd the passengers seat ripped from the floor & I was rolling in the back between the roll bars... I was hooked and in 8 years I bought an ex-drag car of my own ( You guessed it... The 66' Chevelle SS 🙂) Thank you for all the amazing video and wicked sweet rides 🙂

Sadly soon all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime (Bundesabgasbespassungsverbotsverordnung)!!

@@irav4u Your presentation about Alex is Your personal assessment, perhaps, though some aspects are correct. Alex is not a 'gearhead' type -> rather far more, better developed -as she states, through his father - and her 'given', 'natural' abilities, talents, etc. Alex actually enjoys the development, challenges, comprehension, understanding, and to use them to achieve the desired results. During an interview within this week at HR Drag Week, Alex explicitly stated she enjoys involvement, details, understanding transmissions - all with her usual smile and sincere expression. This was a little bit surprising to me specifically about, with transmission - but makes sense - immediately as she stated it. Good Luck.
